Questions about this item

How many characters can the 41U1680-PTX ribbon pack produce before it reaches its limit?

The 6-pack is rated for 81 million characters total, matching the 90,000,000-character typical yield stated for the ribbon.

Does the thermal-transfer ribbon generate noticeable heat or noise when running continuously on a Ricoh Infoprint 6500?

Thermal-transfer ribbons add no moving parts, so they do not increase noise or heat beyond the printer's own dot-matrix mechanism.
