All-in-one zoom for Sony E-mount full-frame

The Tamron 28-300mm f/4-7.1 Di III VC VXD lens covers a 28mm to 300mm focal range on full-frame Sony E-mount cameras. A variable maximum aperture of f/4 at the wide end and f/7.1 at the long end supports landscapes, portraits and distant subjects in one optic. The bundle adds a 67mm filter kit, lens cap keeper and cleaning kit for immediate use.

Check mount, filter thread and weight balance

Verify your camera uses the Sony E mount and covers full-frame sensors before ordering. The front filter thread measures 67mm, so any circular filters or protectors must match that size. At 1.3 pounds the lens is light, but confirm your body and strap combination handles the length when extended to 300mm.

Handheld versatility with VC stabilization

The built-in VC shake reduction system steadies handheld shots across the zoom range, especially useful at the telephoto end. A minimum focusing distance of 7.5 inches allows detailed close-ups without extra accessories. Moisture-sealed construction and fluorine coating protect the front element in damp or dusty conditions. A Tamron Lens Utility connector port enables firmware updates from a computer.
