Versatile EF-mount zoom for full-frame shooters

The Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 Di VC USD G2 covers a 24 to 70mm range at a constant f/2.8 aperture on Canon EF bodies. Its optical formula uses two XR elements, three LD elements and four aspherical elements to control aberrations. eBAND, BBAR and fluorine coatings reduce flare and ghosting. The lens suits photographers who need a single fast zoom for events, portraits and general assignments.

Requires a Canon EF-mount body

The EF mount fits full-frame and APS-C Canon DSLRs directly. An 82mm filter thread accepts the included UV, CPL and FLD filters plus the supplied tulip hood without step-up rings. The bundled cleaning kit, blower, pen, cloth, cap keeper and pouch handle routine maintenance so you can start shooting immediately. No adapter or proprietary mount is needed.

Ultrasonic Silent Drive and VC keep operation steady

The USD autofocus motor delivers quick, quiet focusing for stills and video. Vibration Compensation provides up to 5-stop-effective shake reduction for handheld work at slower shutter speeds. Moisture-resistant construction protects internal mechanisms during outdoor use. The aperture range extends from f/2.8 to f/22 for depth-of-field control across lighting conditions.
