  • Detects shorts, breaks and continuity in RJ11 lines
  • Audio tone and LED indicators pinpoint cable faults
  • Carrying case, alligator clips and manual included
  • Adjustable sensitivity sharpens fault detection accuracy

Professional Cable Tracker Kit

The TaoTao EM415PRO kit combines a sender and receiver to trace wires and locate faults in RJ11 phone lines and automotive wiring. It is built for mechanics, electricians and DIY users who need to find breaks or shorts without stripping entire harnesses.

Testing Interface Constraints

The tool works only on de-energised circuits and relies on the tone signal travelling through continuous conductors. It cannot trace wires inside live mains cables, shielded data runs carrying active traffic, or fibres where no metallic path exists.

Capacity and Headroom

The kit handles standard RJ11 telephone cables and typical low-voltage automotive looms, giving clear audio and LED feedback across those runs. It runs out on very long multi-pair bundles where signal attenuation drops the tone below detection, and on high-voltage systems where the tester must not be connected.
