Tape Logic 903700 Economy Tape

Tape Logic 903700 is a clear hot-melt shipping tape supplied in a six-roll pack. Each roll measures two inches wide by 1000 yards long with a 1.9 mil thickness. It is designed for sealing cartons in mailroom and warehouse environments.

Practical limits of hot-melt adhesive

Hot-melt adhesive bonds quickly to corrugated fibreboard but can lose tack in very cold conditions or on heavily recycled board with high dust content. The 1.9 mil film provides adequate hold for light to medium cartons but may split on overstuffed or sharp-edged boxes. Users should test adhesion on their specific packaging before high-volume use.

Upgrade from thinner filament tapes

This tape replaces 1.5 mil or filament tapes when a stronger seal is needed without moving to premium acrylic formulations. The jump is worth it when carton weights exceed the holding power of thinner films yet do not justify the cost of heavy-duty specialty tapes. It is not suited for applications requiring UV resistance or long-term archival storage.
