Economy packing tape for everyday shipping

Tape Logic 9056006 Economy Tape is a hot-melt carton-sealing roll sold in a pack of six. Each roll measures three inches wide by 110 yards long with a 1.6 mil film thickness. The clear adhesive suits general-purpose box sealing in mailrooms, warehouses or home offices.

Practical limits of the hot-melt adhesive

The 1.6 mil construction handles lightweight to medium cartons but is not rated for heavy-duty or high-stress loads. Hot-melt adhesive performs best at room temperature and may lose tack in cold environments or on dusty, recycled fibreboard. Six rolls provide enough length for routine volume without committing to a bulk case.

Installation notes and common issues

The rolls fit standard three-inch core hand dispensers, so no special tools are required. Apply firm pressure along the full length to activate the adhesive; light pressure often leaves edges loose. Store rolls flat at moderate temperature to prevent the adhesive from blocking or the film from telescoping on the core.
