Reinforced Water-Activated Tape

This reinforced water-activated tape is designed for shipping and mailing operations that require a tamper-evident seal. It suits warehouses, fulfilment centres and small businesses that pack cartons regularly. The kraft construction provides a strong bond to corrugated surfaces once moistened.

Thermals, noise and power

The tape operates without electricity, so it produces no heat, noise or power draw during application. A manual or electric dispenser wets the adhesive, and the bond forms as the moisture dries. No thermal management or acoustic considerations apply to this consumable.

Build quality and daily use

Each roll measures three inches wide and four hundred fifty feet long, supplied in a pack of ten rolls. The reinforced fibres resist splitting under tension, keeping cartons sealed through transit. The kraft colour allows handwritten labels or stamps to remain legible on the sealed seam.

Questions about this item

How do I apply the Tape Logic 9077700 reinforced water activated tape, and what step causes most failures?

Use a water-activated dispenser to wet the adhesive side evenly, then press firmly onto the carton; the step most often missed is insufficient water, which prevents the glue from bonding to the fibres.

What maintenance or replacement will the dispenser for this 3" x 450' kraft roll need over time?

Clean the brush and water tank regularly to stop dried adhesive buildup, and replace the cutting blade when it dulls so each 450-foot roll cuts cleanly without tearing.

What limit appears first when sealing cartons continuously with the 9077700 tape?

The dispenser water tank empties after several cartons, forcing a refill pause before the ten-roll case is exhausted.
