Tape Logic DL1166 "Scrap By" Label

Tape Logic DL1166 "Scrap By" labels come in fluorescent red for high-visibility marking. They are designed for classroom and office environments where scrap or waste items need quick identification. The adhesive-backed format suits fast application on bins, boxes or paperwork.

Best for teachers and office staff

These labels suit teachers, administrators and warehouse teams who need a bold "Scrap By" message on a compact tag. They are not intended for buyers who want custom wording, larger dimensions or a different colour scheme. Anyone needing barcodes, serial numbering or tamper-evident features should look at specialised labelling systems instead.

One-size label roll for routine marking

Each roll supplies a consistent 1 1/4" x 2" label that fits standard dispensers and handles daily scrap-sorting volumes. The fluorescent red ink stays legible under bright light and on coloured containers. Very high-throughput operations or outdoor exposure may exceed the adhesive or material limits.

Questions about this item

What surface or container will I need to apply these 1 1/4" x 2" fluorescent red "Scrap By" labels to?

They adhere to clean, dry surfaces such as cardboard boxes, plastic bins, metal shelving or paper records — any smooth area where you mark scrap material.

Will the fluorescent red ink stay legible on older shelving that has faded or yellowed over time?

The high-visibility fluorescent red contrasts strongly with aged or discoloured backgrounds, so the "Scrap By" text remains readable on older surfaces.

How can I confirm the labels are sticking correctly once I have applied them?

Press each label firmly for a few seconds; if the edges stay flat and the label resists a gentle tug, the adhesive has bonded properly.
