Product identity

Tape Logic PL462 packing list envelopes come in a bright orange colour and are sold in a pack of 1000. They are designed for warehouses, fulfilment centres and mailrooms that need to attach invoices or packing slips securely to outbound parcels.

When to choose these

The self-adhesive backing replaces loose paperwork, tape or separate document pouches, cutting the time spent securing each shipment. The bulk quantity suits operations that process hundreds of packages daily, while smaller-volume senders may find the pack size excessive.

Practical limits

Each envelope measures 4 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches, so only documents folded to fit that footprint can be inserted. The adhesive is intended for single use on corrugated cartons and may not bond reliably to plastic mailers or heavily recycled fibre surfaces.

Questions about this item

What size parcel or box surface do the 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" envelopes need to stick to?

Each envelope measures 4 1/2 by 5 1/2 inches, so the mounting surface must be clean, dry and at least that large for full adhesive contact.

How are the PL462 envelopes applied, and what step is often missed?

Peel the backing, press the envelope firmly onto the package, then insert the packing list through the open top; skipping the firm press leaves edges loose and the list can fall out.

When will a new box of 1000 envelopes be needed?

One box contains 1000 envelopes; reorder when the count runs low — typically after 1000 shipments — to avoid interruption.
