Pack Quantity and Roll Dimensions

This pack contains six rolls of clear economy tape, each measuring two inches wide by 110 yards long. The 1.6 mil thickness is suited to general-purpose sealing of cartons and envelopes in a mailroom or shipping department. The tape uses a hot melt adhesive formulation for reliable bonding on corrugated surfaces.

Upgrade From Thinner Single Rolls

Buyers moving up from 1.2 mil single rolls will notice stronger seam integrity on heavier boxes without changing dispensers. The multi-roll pack reduces reorder frequency for teams that seal dozens of parcels daily. The improvement is worthwhile when tape breaks or flagging edges cause repacks and delays.

Sustained Use in High-Volume Shipping

Under continuous sealing the hot melt adhesive maintains consistent tack and resists splitting across long runs. Rolls unwind evenly on standard two-inch core dispensers, minimising downtime for roll changes. The economy grade performs reliably for standard weight cartons but is not intended for extreme temperature or heavy-duty security applications.

Questions about this item

Does the 2" width fit standard hand-held tape dispensers?

Yes, the 2" width matches the core size used by most desktop and pistol-grip dispensers sold for packaging tape.

How do I apply the hot-melt adhesive so it bonds properly to corrugated boxes?

Press the tape firmly along the full 110 yd length after unrolling; the hot-melt adhesive activates with pressure, not heat, so a smooth, even stroke is the step most people skip.

When should I replace a roll from the 6-pack?

Replace a roll when the adhesive no longer grabs cleanly or the film tears unevenly; each 1.6 mil roll is single-use and not designed for reapplication.
