Privacy Screen for 21.6-Inch Widescreen

The Targus 4Vu Privacy Screen fits a 21.6-inch widescreen display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It limits the viewing angle so that only the person directly in front of the monitor can read the content. This accessory is intended for professionals who handle confidential data in shared or public workspaces. It attaches to the monitor bezel without adhesive.

Consistent Privacy Under Continuous Use

The filter maintains its privacy effect as long as it remains correctly positioned on the screen. Performance does not degrade during extended sessions because the optical layer relies on a physical louver structure rather than an active coating. Dust or fingerprints on the surface can reduce clarity, so periodic cleaning preserves the intended viewing restriction. The screen stays effective for the duration of the workday.

Questions about this item

Does the 4Vu privacy filter on the 21.6" screen generate any heat or noise during all-day use?

The filter is a passive screen overlay with no electronics, fans or power draw, so it produces zero heat and no audible noise regardless of how long it stays on the monitor.

What must I already own for the ASF216W9USZ privacy screen to work on my 21.6" 16:9 display?

You need a 21.6-inch widescreen monitor with a 16:9 aspect ratio; the filter attaches directly to that panel using the included adhesive strips or mounting tabs.
