Compact wireless mouse for everyday computing

The Targus AMW575TT is a 2.4 GHz wireless optical mouse built for Windows and Mac users who want a simple, reliable pointing device. It runs on a single AA battery and includes a stowable USB receiver that stores inside the mouse body. The 1,600 dpi optical sensor gives precise cursor control for office tasks and web browsing.

Upgrade from a tethered or lower-resolution mouse

This model replaces a wired mouse or an older wireless unit with a lower DPI sensor, removing cable drag and improving tracking accuracy. The jump is worth it when you need a 10-meter (33-foot) wireless range for presentations or a clutter-free desk, and when a comfortable ambidextrous shape matters for long sessions.

Fits a laptop bag or desktop setup

The mouse connects via a standard USB-A port and works with Windows 2000 through Windows 10 and Mac OS X 10.6 to 10.12.4 without extra drivers. Its integrated receiver compartment frees up a USB port when travelling, and the single AA battery keeps the weight low for portable use. Not for buyers who want programmable buttons, rechargeable power or a higher DPI sensor for gaming.
