Forest Green Medium-Duty Tarp

The Tarps Direct 12 x 14 Ft Forest Green tarp is a medium-duty polyethylene cover built for outdoor protection. It features a 10 Mil thickness and a fabric weight of 4.5 oz per square yard. Rustproof aluminum grommets placed every 36 inches and at corners provide secure tie-down points. The forest green colour blends naturally with wooded surroundings.

Suited for general cover and camouflage

This sheeting suits landscaping, construction, camping, hunting and farming where a waterproof, mildew and acid resistant barrier is needed. The reinforced poly twine hems add tear resistance for repeated handling. Buyers who need exact finished dimensions should note the cut size reduces final measurements by approximately 6 inches or 3-5 percent. It is not intended for heavy industrial abrasion or permanent structural roofing.

Cut size determines final coverage

The single specification that decides fit is the cut size designation: the 12 x 14 Ft dimensions are pre-hemming measurements. Finished size will be roughly 6 inches or 3-5 percent shorter in each direction. Plan your project coverage using the reduced footprint rather than the listed dimensions.

Questions about this item

How long before the 10 x 10 weave shows wear under constant sun and wind?

The laminated polyethylene is UV treated and tear resistant, so the 10 x 10 weave holds up through extended outdoor exposure without rapid breakdown.

Does the tarp get brittle or heavy after days of rain and heat?

The material stays flexible and waterproof; it resists mildew and acid, so weight and stiffness do not increase during prolonged wet or hot conditions.

What tie-down hardware is needed for the grommets spaced every 36 inches?

Rustproof aluminum grommets are built in at the corners and roughly every 36 inches, so you only need rope, bungee cords or straps to secure it.
