Tarps Direct 20' x 20' High Visibility Yellow 3.3 oz Poly Tarp 8 Mil

20' x 20' High-Visibility Tarp

The Tarps Direct polyethylene sheet measures twenty feet by twenty feet in a bright yellow finish. It is built for anyone needing a lightweight, waterproof cover that also serves as a high-visibility marker. Airports use it for runway closures, while homeowners deploy it over woodpiles, furniture or equipment. The UV-treated material resists acid, tearing and mildew for extended outdoor life.

Capacity and headroom

At 3.3 ounces per square foot and 7-8 mil thickness, the tarp handles rain, wind-blown debris and moderate abrasion without adding bulk. It comfortably covers a standard wood stack or patio set, yet the cut-size construction means the finished piece measures six inches or 3-5 percent shorter than the listed dimensions. Buyers who need the full twenty-foot span after hemming should plan for the shortfall.

Thermals noise and power draw

The poly fabric stays flexible in cold weather and does not soften excessively under direct sun, so it remains quiet when flapping in wind. Grommets spaced thirty-six inches apart and at each corner distribute tie-down tension evenly, reducing stress tears. No power or moving parts are involved, making the tarp a passive, zero-energy solution for temporary shelter or ground protection.
