Handheld dispenser for 2 in tape rolls

The Tartan HB903 is a pistol-grip tape dispenser built for packing stations and shipping desks. It accepts rolls up to 2 in wide on a 3 in core with a maximum roll diameter of 5 1/2 in. The carbon-steel blade cuts cleanly through heavy-duty packaging tapes. Its plastic frame and contoured handle reduce hand fatigue during high-volume sealing tasks.

Carbon-steel blade and heavy-duty rating change

The hardened carbon-steel blade stays sharp longer than standard edges, letting operators slice tape without sawing. A heavy strength rating means the frame resists flex when pulling tension on reinforced or filament tapes. Together they cut the number of blade changes and prevent the dispenser from cracking under daily pallet-wrapping loads.

Check your tape specs

Verify that your tape rolls use a 3 in core and do not exceed 2 in in width or 5 1/2 in in diameter. Confirm the dispenser’s 9 3/4 in width and 5 2/3 in length fit the available work surface. Ensure the pistol-grip style suits the operator’s preferred hand and sealing motion.

Questions about this item

When will the carbon steel blade on the HB903 need replacement?

The carbon steel blade lasts through extended heavy use; replace it when cutting becomes uneven or requires extra force.

What limits continuous dispensing on the HB903?

The 2 in maximum tape width and 5 1/2 in maximum roll diameter set the physical limits for sustained operation.

Does the HB903 generate heat or noise during all-day use?

The manual pistol-grip design produces no motor noise or heat; only the blade makes a light cutting sound.
