Core Audio & Connectivity

The Tatybo WT01 is a wireless gaming headset built around 7.1 surround sound and a 50 mm dynamic driver. It connects through a 2.4 GHz USB or Type-C dongle for low-latency play and also offers Bluetooth for phones and tablets. A 1 000 mAh battery targets 40-plus hours of runtime between charges.

Platform Fit

The 2.4 GHz link works natively with PS5, PS4, PC and Switch, giving plug-and-play audio on those systems. Bluetooth mode does not connect directly to PlayStation consoles or a PC without a separate adapter, so buyers wanting cable-free chat on those platforms must use the dongle. Xbox consoles are not supported at all.

Deciding Specification

The single detail that determines suitability is the 2.4 GHz USB-C dongle: it enables the sub-20 ms latency and 7.1 surround on PS5, PS4, PC and Switch, while Bluetooth remains a secondary option for mobile devices only.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 1000mAh battery draw during a full day of 2.4GHz wireless use?

The 1000mAh battery provides 40+ hours of playtime on a single charge, and a full recharge takes 3 hours via the included cable.

Which connector must my device have to use the 2.4GHz wireless mode?

The 2.4GHz mode requires a free USB-A or USB-C port for the included dual-connector dongle; Bluetooth mode works with any device that supports Bluetooth audio.

Will the 3.5mm wired connection work with my older controller that only has a 3.5mm jack?

Yes, the headset includes a 3.5mm cable for passive wired use, so it functions on any device with a standard 3.5mm headset jack regardless of wireless support.
