10 inch 2U Lockable Drawer

This 10 inch 2U rack mount drawer is designed for the DeskPi RackMate T2, T0 Plus, T1 Plus and TL1 server cabinets. It provides a pull-out compartment for storing tools, documentation or small accessories within the rack. The lockable front secures contents against unauthorised access. It is not suited for cabinets outside the DeskPi RackMate range.

Sustained Use

The drawer slides on metal rails and remains stable when fully extended under normal load. Three round wiring holes on the rear panel allow cables to pass through without binding during repeated opening and closing. The lock mechanism is mechanical and does not rely on electronic components that could degrade. No active cooling or moving parts beyond the slide are present.

Installation

The unit ships fully assembled; only the supplied side lugs and eight screws with washers need to be fitted to the cabinet rails. Alignment of the lugs with the cabinet mounting holes is the critical step — misalignment can prevent the drawer from sliding smoothly. Two keys are included for the lock; losing both will require a locksmith or replacement latch.
