Universal 19-inch 2U rack shelf

This vented cantilever shelf fits any standard 19-inch server rack, IT cabinet, AV enclosure or network rack. The open vent pattern promotes airflow around mounted devices to help dissipate heat and extend equipment life. Constructed from 2.0 mm SPCC cold-rolled steel, it supports hardware with a width under 19 inches. Mounting M6 screws and cage nuts are included for quick installation.

Suits single-depth devices in shallow racks

Ideal for routers, switches, patch panels or small servers that only need front-rail support. The 35 cm depth (14 inches) keeps the profile compact for tight cabinets. Not suited for deep appliances requiring four-post mounting or rear-rail fixation. Buyers needing a full-depth shelf or higher load capacity should consider a four-post alternative.

Depth of 35 cm determines equipment fit

The shelf extends 35 cm (14 inches) from the front mounting rails, so only devices shorter than this depth will sit fully supported. Measure your gear before ordering; anything deeper will overhang and risk instability. This single dimension decides whether the shelf matches your installation.

Questions about this item

Does the shelf include the M6 cage nuts and screws needed to mount it in my 19-inch rack?

Yes, the package contains the 2U vented cantilever tray plus all required M6 mounting screws and cage nuts in a single box.

Will the 35 cm depth support equipment that extends further back than the front mounting rails?

The cantilever design projects 35 cm from the front posts, so devices up to that depth can sit securely without rear rail support.

How can I confirm the ventilation is effective once the shelf is loaded?

Check that airflow passes freely through the vented steel surface and that mounted devices run at their normal operating temperatures.
