Compatible HP Mini PC Models

This hinged rack shelf holds the HP 260 Desktop Mini, ProDesk 400, 405 and 600 Desktop Mini, EliteDesk 705, 800 and 805 Desktop Mini, plus the Elite Mini 800 G9. It occupies a single 1U slot in a standard 19-inch cabinet. The steel frame measures 19 inches wide, 6.53 inches deep and 1.75 inches high.

Hinged Access and Mounting

Both sides hinge open so rear ports and cables remain reachable after installation. Mounting brackets secure the shelf to the rack rails and two zip ties are included to anchor the Mini PC power supply. No top panel is fitted, leaving the unit fully exposed for airflow.

Thermal Behaviour Under Load

The open-top design lets rising heat escape continuously rather than trapping it above the chassis. Steel construction adds mass that absorbs short spikes, while the permanent ventilation path prevents temperature climb during extended operation. Builders needing enclosed dust protection or active cooling fans should look elsewhere.
