  • 2U 19 rackmount design fits standard server cabinets
  • Numbered cable bar and writable labels simplify cable management
  • NDAA compliant for U.S. and Canadian federal projects

48-Port Shielded Keystone Patch Panel

This 2U 19 rackmount panel holds 48 blank keystone ports in a shielded metal housing. It is built for installers who need a fully customisable, high-density termination point in a standard cabinet. The shielded construction blocks EMI and RFI noise on every port.

Upgrade from unshielded or lower-density panels

Replace an unshielded panel when cable runs pass near power equipment or fluorescent lighting. Move to this model when a 1U panel no longer provides enough ports and you have 2U of rack space available. The jump is worth it when you need both shielding and 48 ports in a single unit.

Verify rack depth and keystone compatibility

Confirm your cabinet accepts 2U 19 rackmount hardware and has enough rear clearance for the cable management bar. Ensure you purchase TC-K06C6A Cat6A shielded keystone jacks separately, as the panel ships blank. Check that your crimp tool matches the keystone jack series you select.

Questions about this item

Will the 2U 19 rackmount housing fit a standard 19-inch server rack?

Yes, the 2U 19 metal housing is designed for standard 19-inch rack mounting and occupies 2 rack units of vertical space.

How do I install the Cat6A keystone jacks into the blank ports, and what step is often missed?

Snap each TC-K06C6A shielded keystone jack into a port until it clicks, then secure cables to the numbered cable management bar using ties — skipping the bar strains the jack connections.

What maintenance will the shielded patch panel need over time?

The shielded metal housing and keystone jacks require no scheduled maintenance; only inspect labels and cable ties during network changes, and replace any damaged jack individually.
