Compatible MacBook Air models

This TAURKENAM A1405 lithium-ion battery fits 13-inch MacBook Air units identified as A1466 from Mid 2012 through 2017 and A1369 from Late 2010 and Mid 2011. It replaces Apple part numbers including 661-5731, 661-6055, 020-7379-A and 020-8143-A. The cell is built for owners restoring original runtime to these specific machines.

Capacity and runtime limits

The pack restores the factory-rated capacity for the listed models, delivering typical daily use on a single charge. Runtime will fall short for sustained heavy workloads such as video rendering or virtual machines that exceed the original design envelope. Buyers needing extended off-grid operation beyond the original specification should look elsewhere.

Thermals and power behaviour

Under normal office loads the battery runs at the same thermal profile as the original Apple cell, with no additional fan activity or audible noise. Power draw follows the host system's management firmware without extra overhead. The unit is not designed for high-current discharge scenarios outside the MacBook Air's standard operating range.
