70.07Wh Lithium-Ion Replacement Battery

This 15.4V lithium-ion pack delivers 70.07 watt-hours of capacity for compatible HP laptops. It suits owners of listed Omen, Pavilion and 15-inch series models who need a direct replacement for an exhausted original cell. The black housing matches the factory appearance and the 4550mAh rating supports typical daily workloads. Buyers whose machines use a different voltage or form factor cannot use this unit.

Compatibility Constraints

The battery replaces a long list of HP part numbers including SR04XL, SR03XL, 917724-855 and HSTNN-DB7W among others. It fits numerous 15-ce, 15-dc, 15-cb, 15-cn, 15-cx and 17-bw model variants as detailed in the compatibility data. Systems outside that exact model list will not recognise the pack or may report a mismatch error. No other laptop families or chassis sizes are supported by this design.

Installation Notes

Replacement requires opening the bottom case, disconnecting the old pack and connecting the new one to the same motherboard header. Most users complete the swap with a small Phillips screwdriver and a plastic pry tool in under twenty minutes. Common issues include forgetting to detach the internal connector before lifting the old battery and misaligning the screw posts during reassembly. Ensure the replacement part number matches the label on the original unit before starting.

Questions about this item

Which part number should I order if my HP Omen 15 shows SR04XL or SR03XL on the original battery?

This battery replaces SR04XL, SR03XL and the listed HP part numbers such as 917724-855, HSTNN-DB7W and HSTNN-IB7Z, so it fits any of those codes.

What does the 70.07 Wh rating mean for daily use on my HP 15‑ce or 15‑dc series?

The 70.07 Wh capacity matches the original specification; run time will vary with screen brightness, workload and power settings.

Does the 15.4 V voltage match the connector and charging circuit on HP Pavilion 15‑cb and 15‑cx models?

Yes, the 15.4 V output is identical to the factory battery used in those series, so the laptop’s charging system recognises it directly.
