Indoor/outdoor monitoring

The Taylor BR-E3-01 is a wireless weather station that measures temperature and humidity indoors and outdoors. A single base unit pairs with two remote sensors to cover multiple zones. It also displays barometric pressure, a 12-24 hour forecast, the time and a calendar. The package is aimed at homeowners who want a compact, battery-powered environmental monitor for comfort and planning.

330-foot wireless range

The system transmits data from the remote sensors to the main display over a line-of-sight distance of up to 330 feet. This single figure determines whether the sensors can reach the base unit through walls, floors or garden obstacles. If the intended sensor locations sit farther apart, the link may drop and the station will not report outdoor conditions reliably.

Home users needing two zones

The kit suits households that want simultaneous readings from two separate outdoor spots or one indoor and one outdoor position. Buyers who only need a single sensor can choose the one-sensor version of the same model. Anyone requiring more than two remote points, wired connectivity or smart-home integration should look at a different platform.

Questions about this item

How does the 330FT wireless range work once the sensor is placed outdoors?

The 330-foot range lets the outdoor sensor transmit temperature and humidity to the main unit through walls and across a typical garden.

What does the built-in barometer actually measure and how is it shown?

The built-in barometer tracks atmospheric pressure and uses it to generate a 12-24 hour weather forecast on the display.

Will the main unit and sensor fit on a standard windowsill or shelf?

The main unit measures 4.92" x 3.46" x 0.83" and the sensor 5.24" x 1.57" x 0.71", so both sit easily on a windowsill or shelf.
