Smart monitor for indoor climate tracking

The Taylor Tapo T315 is a compact temperature and humidity monitor designed for home owners who want real-time indoor climate data. It uses a Swiss-made sensor to deliver readings every two seconds with an accuracy of ±0.54°F and ±3% RH. The 2.7-inch E-ink display shows temperature, humidity, comfort level, battery status and signal strength without glare. Two AAA batteries are included for immediate use.

Hub-dependent sensor for flexible placement

To operate, the T315 requires a separate Tapo H100 hub connected to a secured 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The sensor communicates with the hub over a Sub-1G low-power wireless protocol that extends coverage beyond standard Wi-Fi and preserves battery life. The package includes a 3M adhesive strip so the unit can sit on a shelf or mount on a wall. A side button toggles temperature units and swaps the display order of temperature and humidity.

Two-year battery life under sustained monitoring

The monitor is rated for up to two years of operation on the two included AAA batteries based on laboratory results under normal use. Real-world longevity will vary with reporting frequency and environmental conditions. The system stores up to two years of temperature and humidity history in the cloud and allows free data export to email for long-term trend analysis. Comfort zones can be customised in the companion app to trigger instant notifications when readings drift outside the set range.
