Purpose and User

The Taylor TP351 is a Bluetooth thermometer and hygrometer designed for remote monitoring of temperature and humidity. It suits greenhouse operators, incubator managers, humidor owners and anyone needing long-term environmental records without being on site.

Sustained Operation

The sensor delivers high precision of +/-0.5°F and +/-2% RH with a fast 10-second refresh rate. Data is stored continuously for up to two years and can be exported for trend analysis, while the app provides alerts and comfort indexing throughout extended deployments.

Upgrade Context

This unit replaces standalone gauges that lack wireless range or historical logging. The jump is worthwhile when you need 260-foot connectivity, automated alerts and multi-year data export for compliance or optimisation tasks.

Questions about this item

How much battery power does the TP351 draw when it runs continuously for days?

The monitor operates on included AAA batteries and refreshes readings every 10 seconds, with the app showing a battery indicator so you can track remaining life during extended use.

What phone or tablet do I need to pair with the TP351 before it will start logging?

You need a smart device with Bluetooth capability to download the companion app; once paired, the sensor auto-connects and begins recording temperature and humidity data.

Will the TP351 still send readings to my older phone if its Bluetooth range is shorter than 260 feet?

Yes, the sensor transmits up to 260 feet, so it will reach any compatible device within that distance; the link simply works at the shorter range your older phone supports.
