Indoor outdoor climate monitor

The Taylor UN0582CS is a wireless thermometer and hygrometer built for homeowners who want simultaneous indoor and outdoor readings. It supports up to three remote sensors transmitting data across a 330 ft radius every 30 seconds. The 4.5 inch backlit LCD shows temperature, humidity, trend arrows and comfort icons at a glance.

Power and placement check

Verify you have AA alkaline batteries for the display unit and each sensor; the display can also run from a USB cable to keep the backlight on continuously. Choose a mounting spot — tabletop or wall — where the screen is readable and the display stays within the 330 ft wireless range of every sensor location you plan to use.

Replaces basic single-point gauges

This unit upgrades from simple analog or single-channel digital thermometers by adding multi-sensor logging, daily high and low records and programmable temperature or humidity alerts. The jump is worth it when you need to track a garage, greenhouse or nursery alongside the main living area without running wires.
