Left-handed 18° fairway wood

The TaylorMade Burner High Launch is a left-handed 5-wood built for men. It carries an 18° loft on a stiff-flex graphite shaft measuring 42.5 inches in length. The club is brand new and designed for adult players.

Re Ax 49 shaft and TaylorMade grip

The shaft is a TaylorMade Re Ax 49 graphite model paired with a standard TaylorMade grip. This combination aims to promote a higher launch trajectory. No headcover is included with the club.

Suits left-handed golfers wanting high launch

This club fits left-handed male golfers seeking a stiff-flex 5-wood to flight the ball higher. Players needing a regular or senior flex, a right-handed model, or a different loft should consider other options.

Questions about this item

Will the Taylor Made Re Ax 49 graphite shaft need replacing after extended play?

Graphite shafts like the Re Ax 49 resist fatigue better than steel, but inspect the tip and ferrule annually for cracks; replace if you notice a change in feel or ball flight.

What limits distance consistency when I swing the 18-degree head all day?

The stiff flex and 42.5-inch length amplify dispersion on off-centre strikes; fatigue in your swing tempo usually shows up before the clubhead does.

Does the graphite shaft transmit more vibration or heat to my hands during a long round?

Graphite dampens vibration more than steel, so hand shock stays low; the grip material handles sweat without becoming slick in warm conditions.
