Suits players matching these specs

Golfers who need a right-hand 6-iron with stiff graphite shaft and standard length will find the correct fit. Left-handed players, those requiring regular or senior flex, or a different loft should look elsewhere.

26.5-degree loft sets the gap

The 26.5-degree loft determines where this club sits in your distance progression. Verify that this loft matches the gap you need between your 5-iron and 7-iron before purchasing.

Questions about this item

What loft angle does the P790 6 iron have, and how does that affect distance?

The 6 iron is built at 26.5° loft, which produces a lower launch and longer carry than traditional 6 irons with weaker lofts.

What shaft and grip combination does this individual iron use?

It ships with a Mitsubishi MMT graphite shaft in Stiff flex and a Golf Pride Z Grip 360 as standard.

How is the club assembled, and what fitting step is often overlooked?

The head, shaft and grip come pre-assembled to standard length; the step many golfers skip is verifying lie angle and swing weight match their fit specifications.
