Compact 81-inch 2.0 sound bar
The TCL S45H is a two-channel sound bar measuring 81.0 inches wide, designed to sit in front of a large-screen TV. Its 2.0 configuration delivers stereo audio without a separate subwoofer, making it a space-saving choice for apartments, bedrooms or medium-sized living rooms where a full surround system is impractical.
Dolby Atmos and AI calibration included
Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X processing create virtual height and surround effects from the two drivers, while AI Sonic auto room calibration tunes the output to the room layout through the TCL app. Bluetooth connectivity adds wireless streaming from phones or tablets, and both a remote control and the app provide everyday operation.
100-watt total power output
The single specification that determines suitability is the 100-watt power rating. It sets the maximum loudness and dynamic headroom for movies, music and gaming, so buyers needing higher output for large open-plan spaces should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item
Will the 81.0 in soundbar need any driver servicing or component replacement over time?
The 2.0 channel bar uses fixed 31.89 in driver units with no user-serviceable parts; no scheduled maintenance or replacement is required.
What limits output first during a long movie marathon — the 100 watt amplifier or the 60 hertz low-frequency response?
The 60 hertz frequency response rolls off bass before the 100 watt amplifier reaches its ceiling, so low-end extension is the first limit.
How much heat or fan noise does the corded-electric 100 watt unit produce when running all day?
The 100 watt corded-electric design has no active cooling fan; it runs warm but silent during extended playback.
