Two-pack high-yield black toner

This two-pack of TCT 057H black toner cartridges replaces Canon 057H originals and fits Canon i-Sensys LBP223, MF443, MF445, MF446, LBP226, LBP227, MF448 and imageClass MF445, MF448 models. Each cartridge delivers an approximate yield of 10000 pages at five percent coverage. It is suited to offices that print high volumes of monochrome documents and want a lower cost per page than standard-capacity cartridges.

Thermals noise and power draw

Toner cartridges are passive consumables with no moving parts, fans or electronic components, so they generate no audible noise and draw no power themselves. Heat is produced only by the printer’s fuser unit during the printing process and is managed entirely by the printer’s own cooling system. The cartridge simply sits in the printer and feeds toner as required.

Bundled accessories and software

The pack contains two sealed toner cartridges and no additional hardware, chips, cables or software discs. Installation consists of removing the protective seal and inserting each cartridge into the printer’s toner bay. There are no firmware updates, management utilities or mobile apps associated with these cartridges.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 057H cartridge in my Canon i-Sensys MF445, and what step is often missed?

Open the front cover, remove the old cartridge, rock the new 057H gently five or six times to distribute toner, pull the sealing tape straight out, then slide the cartridge in until it clicks; the step most often missed is rocking the cartridge before removing the tape.

What will need replacement after the 10000 pages at 5 % coverage are printed?

The 057H toner cartridge itself is the consumable; once the 10000-page yield is reached the cartridge must be replaced with a new 057H unit.

What limit appears first during a long, continuous print run with the 057H?

The 10000-page yield at 5 % coverage is the first limit; after that volume the toner is depleted and print density drops until the cartridge is replaced.
