Technaxx TX-69 1080p binoculars

The Technaxx TX-69 4719 is a camouflaged binocular device with a 5.0 megapixel CMOS sensor. It records FullHD video at 1920 x 1080 resolution and captures interpolated photos up to 12.0 megapixels. A built-in 2.4 inch TFT LCD screen allows immediate playback. The unit runs on eight AA batteries and includes an automatic IR cut filter for day and night use.

Hunters and property watchers

This model suits users who need a combined optic and recorder for wildlife observation or premises monitoring. The passive infrared sensor detects motion up to 15 metres and the infrared illuminator reaches 20 metres in darkness. Buyers who require higher frame rates than 15 frames per second at 1080p or who need a wider field of view than 70 degrees should consider other equipment.

Extended field deployment

Standby time reaches up to 12 months on fresh cells, making the device practical for long-term unattended operation. The operating temperature range spans minus seven to plus forty degrees Celsius. An external six volt supply rated at least 1.5 amperes can replace the AA pack for continuous power. Programmable trigger intervals from five seconds to sixty minutes and a time-lapse mode up to twenty-four hours let the unit adapt to varied surveillance schedules.
