Essential vocal recording accessory

The Technical Pro MKPF2 is a 6" clamp-on pop filter designed for singers, podcasters and streamers who need clean vocal takes. It attaches securely to a microphone stand and blocks the explosive air from plosive consonants that would otherwise overload the capsule. The flexible 10 gooseneck lets you position the screen precisely in front of any microphone. Every recording setup benefits from this level of plosive control.

Silent operation with no power required

The passive mesh screen adds no electronic noise, fan noise or power draw to the signal chain. It simply diffuses the burst of air from P and B sounds before it reaches the diaphragm. The swivel mount holds the filter steady without rattling or creaking during a session. Because it needs no electricity, it integrates into any analogue or digital workflow without extra cables.

Durable clamp and flexible positioning

The metal clamp grips standard microphone stands firmly and the gooseneck retains its shape after repeated adjustment. The swivel joint allows quick angle changes between speakers without loosening the mount. A compact footprint keeps the stand area tidy while the 10 arm reaches across large-diaphragm or broadcast microphones. Build quality supports daily studio use and frequent repositioning.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the 6" clamp-on pop filter to my microphone stand?

Open the clamp, slide it onto the stand tube, and tighten the screw until the 10" gooseneck holds its position without sagging.

What part of the pop filter will need replacement after extended studio use?

The nylon screen on the 6" frame can stretch or tear over time and is the only component designed to be swapped out.

At what point does the 10" gooseneck stop holding the filter steady during a long session?

When the gooseneck is bent into a tight curve or fully extended horizontally, its spring tension relaxes and the filter begins to drift.
