Model identity

This Tecnomodel collectible reproduces the Lotus 62 #71 driven by John Miles and Brian Muir at the 1969 Brands Hatch 6 Hours. It is a 1/18 scale resin model finished in the Gold Leaf Team Lotus livery and belongs to the Mythos Series limited to 55 pieces worldwide. The officially licensed replica arrives in a plastic display showcase inside its original unopened packaging.

Compatibility check

The model is made of sealed resin with no opening parts, so it cannot be disassembled or modified. Real rubber tyres are fitted, but the item is intended for static display only and is rated for adult collectors. Verify that you have shelf space for the supplied showcase measuring approximately 8.25 by 3.75 by 2.125 inches before ordering.

Upgrade context

This piece replaces generic open-wheel replicas with a historically accurate, limited-run representation of a specific 1969 endurance entry. The jump is worth it for collectors who value documented race history, low production numbers and factory-sealed presentation over mass-produced alternatives.
