Teday AX200 M.2 Key E wireless adapter

The Teday AX200 is a WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 module built on the Intel AX200 chipset for M.2 Key E slots. It delivers up to 3000 Mbps combined throughput across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands when paired with a 160 MHz-capable router. The card includes two IPEX4 antennas for desktop or laptop integration.

Suitable for Windows 10 64-bit

This adapter fits builders upgrading a compatible motherboard or notebook that exposes a standard Key E 2230 interface without Intel CNVi integration. It will not function on Windows 7, 8 or 8.1, nor on Lenovo, HP, IBM or ThinkPad platforms that enforce a firmware whitelist. Buyers needing CNVi support or older Windows releases must choose a different solution.

M.2 Key E slot without Intel CNVi required

The single specification that decides compatibility is the motherboard or laptop slot type: it must be a Key E 2230 socket that does not implement Intel CNVi. If the platform uses CNVi for integrated wireless, the AX200 will not operate regardless of operating system.

Questions about this item

What does the 3000Mbps headline speed mean once the card is installed?

The 3000Mbps figure combines a maximum 2400Mbps on the 5GHz band and 574Mbps on the 2.4GHz band. Those rates require a router that supports 160MHz channels and the 802.11ax standard.

What does the M.2 Key E interface cap in practice?

The card uses an M.2 Key E slot but will not work in sockets that implement Intel CNVi integrated Wi-Fi/BT. It is compatible with standard 2230 Key E slots on supported Windows 10 64-bit and Linux systems.

What does the adapter physically need to fit and mount?

It requires an M.2 Key E slot in 2230 form factor and ships with two IPEX4 antenna pigtails that must be connected for wireless operation.
