TeKit 10596 3.5 mm right-angle aux cable

This 1.65 ft black cable carries stereo audio between any two devices fitted with a 3.5 mm jack. The 90 degree plug lets you connect phones, tablets, MP3 players or laptops to car aux inputs, portable speakers or home stereos where a straight connector would not fit. Gold-plated contacts and oxygen-free copper conductors preserve signal quality.

Slim 90° plug and flat tangle-free cable

The right-angle moulding slips into recessed ports on cased handsets without removing bulky protective covers. A flat noodle-style jacket resists knots when coiled in a bag or glove compartment. 24K gold plating on both male ends resists corrosion while the slim barrel clears tight cut-outs on modern smartphones and tablets.

Analogue stereo only — no microphone

This cable transmits left and right audio channels; it does not carry a microphone signal or inline remote commands. Devices that require a four-pole TRRS connection for headset functions will not gain those features through this lead. Buyers needing headset mic support or longer reach should select a different cable.

Questions about this item

What does the 3.5 mm stereo jack support on this 10596 cable?

The 3.5 mm stereo jack carries analogue audio between any two devices that have a standard 3.5 mm port, such as phones, tablets, laptops, car aux inputs or powered speakers.

How much clearance does the 90° right-angle plug need behind the device?

The right-angle moulding sits flush against the device, so only a few millimetres of space behind the port are required — ideal for recessed jacks or tight gaps where a straight plug would not fit.

How do I install the cable without damaging the slim connector?

Align the narrow 3.5 mm tip straight with the jack and push gently until it clicks; forcing it at an angle can bend the slim housing or deform the gold-plated contacts.
