TeKit 10789 3.5mm Y Splitter Cable

The TeKit 10789 is a compact white adapter that converts a single 3.5 mm 4-position combo port into separate 3.5 mm headphone and microphone jacks. It enables headsets with distinct plugs to connect to laptops, tablets or smartphones that only offer one combined audio socket.

Ideal for headsets with split plugs

Users whose headset terminates in two 3.5 mm connectors will find this adapter essential for modern single-port devices. It does not serve buyers who need to merge two headphones into one output or who require a USB or digital audio connection instead of analogue 3.5 mm.

Gold-plated contacts for steady signal

The 24K gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and maintain consistent conductivity during extended calls or gaming sessions. Oxygen-free copper conductors preserve audio fidelity without signal drop-off when the cable is left plugged in for long periods.

Questions about this item

What 3.5 mm port must my device already have for the 10789 splitter to work?

Your device needs a single 3.5 mm 4-position combo port that carries both headphone and microphone signals.

Will my older headset with separate 3.5 mm plugs connect through this adapter?

Yes, the two 3-position female jacks accept standard separate headphone and microphone plugs from older headsets.

How can I confirm the 24 K gold-plated contacts are delivering clear audio after setup?

Make a test call in any PC voice app; both microphone input and stereo output should be audible without static.
