The TeKit OD6.0 is a 16.4 ft Toslink optical audio cable designed for connecting digital audio sources such as Blu-ray players, CD players, Mini Disc or DAT equipment to compatible receivers or soundbars. It uses male-to-male connectors and a black PVC jacket.

Capacity and headroom: SPDIF stereo and compressed

The fibre-optic link carries standard SPDIF signals including two-channel PCM, Dolby Digital and DTS bitstreams up to the cable’s 16.4 ft length. It does not support multi-channel uncompressed formats such as Dolby TrueHD or DTS-HD Master Audio, which require HDMI bandwidth.

Build quality and daily use

Precision-polished fibre tips are fitted with protective caps to keep end-faces clean before installation. The heavy-duty PVC jacket adds flexibility and shields the copper conductor from kinks and abrasion during routing behind furniture or through wall cavities. Male-to-male terminals plug directly into square Toslink ports without adapters.
