TeKit 20122 DVI-I to VGA Adapter

This adapter connects a VGA display, projector or HDTV to a computer with a DVI-I 24+5 analogue output. Gold-plated connectors and screw-secured ports ensure a reliable link. It supports video resolutions up to 1080P and carries an analogue signal only.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Buyers needing a simple, cost-effective way to hook up a legacy VGA monitor or projector to a DVI-I source will find this fit for purpose. Users requiring audio transmission must use a separate cable, as DVI and VGA do not carry sound. Builders with digital-only DVI-D ports cannot use this adapter.

Critical spec: analogue DVI-I 24+5 male input

The adapter works exclusively with a DVI-I 24+5 male port that carries an analogue signal. It will not function on DVI-D digital-only outputs or on DVI-A connectors with a different pin layout. Verify the source port type before purchase.
