The TeKit JD2020 adapts a NEMA 1-15P male plug to an IEC 60320 C7 figure-eight female socket. It lets owners of devices fitted with a C7 inlet connect directly to a North American two-prong outlet without an extra cable. The adapter is rated 10 A at 250 V and suits TVs, monitors, printers, projectors, game consoles, audio gear, laptop chargers, camera chargers and sewing machines that use a two-prong AC cord.

Thermals noise and power draw

As a passive moulded PVC adapter the unit generates no audible noise and adds no measurable heat beyond normal connection resistance.
