Connects legacy PCI cards to a PCIe x1 slot with PCI 2.3 and PCIe 1.0 compliance
This TeKit NTRC100339W adapter lets you install a 32-bit 33 MHz PCI card into an open PCI Express x1 slot on a current motherboard. It targets IT professionals and enthusiasts who must keep older expansion hardware working on newer platforms.
The card follows the PCI Express 1.0 and PCI 2.3 specifications and presents a single low-profile PCI slot. A 4-pin power connector must be attached to supply 3.3 V, 5 V and 12 V rails to the installed device for stable operation.
The x1 link provides 2.5 Gbps per direction under the 1.0 standard, limiting throughput for high-speed legacy cards. The slot delivers up to 1 A at 3.3 V, 100 mA at 3.3 V auxiliary, 5 A at 5 V and 500 mA at 12 V, so power-hungry peripherals may exceed the budget.
Measured against everything we stock in PCIe Expansion Cards, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

The card uses a PCI Express 1.0 single-lane connection running at 2.5 Gbps per direction, which is the practical throughput ceiling for any PCI device plugged into it.
It installs in a standard PCI Express x1 slot and requires a 4-pin Molex power lead supplying both 12 V and 5 V to run the onboard PCI slot.
Forgetting to plug the 4-pin Molex power cable into the card; without it the PCI slot receives no 3.3 V, 5 V or 12 V supply and the legacy card will not work.
