Compatible NGFF Wireless Card

The TeKit RTL8821CE is an NGFF interface add-on card that provides dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. It is built for HP ProBook 450 G5 and PB430G5 series notebooks using the SPS 915621-001 part number. The card operates on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies with 1x1 antenna configuration.

Suits HP ProBook owners needing a replacement

This card fits the listed ProBook 450 G5 and PB430G5 models including units with Celeron 3865U, Core i5-7200U and Core i5-8250U processors. It may also work in some Dell, ASUS and Acer laptops that accept the same NGFF keying. Buyers with Lenovo laptops should not purchase this card as the supplier states it is not supported.

NGFF interface and SPS 915621-001 part number

The single specification that decides fitment is the NGFF connector combined with the exact SPS 915621-001 part number. Verify your laptop service manual lists this SPS number before ordering. The package contains one wireless card only.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the RTL8821CE card produce when running all day?

The card is a passive NGFF module with no fan, so it generates negligible heat and makes no audible noise during continuous operation.

What must my laptop already have for this NGFF card to work?

An available NGFF (M.2 Key E) slot with the correct antenna connectors, plus a BIOS that does not block third-party Wi-Fi cards.

Will the 802.11AC 1x1 adapter talk to my older 2.4 GHz 802.11n router?

Yes, the card supports 802.11a/b/g/n on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, so it connects to legacy routers at their maximum rates.
