What the product is and who it is for

The Jupiter Jack is a Bluetooth adapter that connects a phone to a car stereo via the 99.3 FM frequency. It is intended for drivers who want hands-free calling without replacing their factory radio. The package includes an A/C adapter for power. Some phones may need an extra headset-jack adapter that is not guaranteed to be in the box.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

The adapter draws power from the vehicle's A/C outlet so it does not rely on the phone battery. No active cooling or fan is present, so the device runs silently during calls. The low current draw adds negligible load to the car electrical system.

Build quality and daily connector implications

The unit plugs into the phone's headset jack and the car power socket, leaving no permanent installation. Its lightweight .1800 kg body stays in place during normal driving vibration. The simple two-cable arrangement keeps the dashboard tidy and allows quick removal when the vehicle is parked.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the Jupiter Jack to my phone and car radio?

Plug the adapter into the phone's headset jack, tune the car radio to 99.3 FM, and pair via Bluetooth; the step often missed is ensuring the phone's media volume is turned up so audio routes through the FM signal.

What parts will need replacement over time?

The included A/C adapter and any phone-specific headset-jack adapters supplied in the package are the only components that may wear out or be lost and require replacement.

What limits call quality during a long drive?

The FM transmission on 99.3 MHz can pick up local station interference, which becomes the first audible limitation during extended use.
