Inductive proximity sensor for 12 mm mount

The Telemecanique Sensors XS212SAPAM12 is an inductive cylindrical proximity sensor with a 12 mm barrel diameter and a 7 mm maximum detecting distance. It operates on 12 to 24 V DC and provides a 3-wire PNP normally-open output. The housing is 316L stainless steel, 41 mm long, and rated IP67 and IP69K for harsh environments.

4-pin M12 connector and unshielded sensing face

Electrical connection is made through a 4-pin M12 connector that plugs directly into a matching cordset or distribution box. The unshielded sensing face requires a metal-free zone around the head to avoid false triggers. A 200 mA maximum load rating means the output can drive small relays, PLC inputs or indicator lamps without an intermediate amplifier.
