Telrad 4" Riser Base ATTB4 optic

SKU CH-Z7ZS-WAF9D

A 4-inch riser base that mounts under an existing Telrad base to increase eye relief

  • Increases eye relief for comfortable viewing
  • Offsets sight from main tube for clearance
  • Works with existing mounting base
  • Adds four inches of height adjustment

Telrad 4" Riser Base

The Telrad 4" Riser Base attaches to an existing mounting base to offset the sight from the main tube. This adjustment increases eye relief for the observer. It is designed for astronomers who need a more comfortable viewing position with their current Telrad finder setup. The accessory provides a simple mechanical solution to extend the distance between the eye and the sight window.

Practical limits of the riser interface

The riser functions only as a mechanical spacer between the sight and the original base. It adds no optical elements, illumination or electronic adjustment to the system. Compatibility depends entirely on the specific mounting base already installed on the telescope. The fixed 4-inch height cannot be altered once the unit is fitted. Buyers who need variable height adjustment or an integrated mounting base will find this product does not meet those requirements.

It stacks on top of the existing mounting base, adding four inches of height without removing the original base.

How much additional eye relief does the four-inch riser provide when the Telrad sight is mounted?

The riser lifts the sight four inches above the main tube, directly increasing eye relief by that same distance.
