Compact Digital Hygrometer Thermometer

The TempPro TP49 is a battery-powered indoor thermometer and hygrometer that measures temperature and humidity with a comfort-level face icon. It is designed for anyone who needs quick, at-a-glance air-condition data in living spaces, nurseries, greenhouses, or instrument rooms.

Replaces guesswork and slow analog gauges

The unit refreshes every 10 seconds, removing the lag of traditional dial hygrometers that can leave you reacting to stale data. The jump is worth it when you need to adjust a humidifier or dehumidifier promptly to protect plants, instruments, or sleep comfort.

Handles ±1°F/°C temperature

The sensor operates up to 158 degrees Fahrenheit and runs 18 to 24 months on a single 3A battery. It runs out of headroom in environments exceeding that temperature ceiling or when the battery expires after the rated lifespan.

Questions about this item

How much space does the 2.2 in by 2.6 in unit need for the tabletop stand, magnetic back, or hanging mount?

The compact body measures 2.2 in wide, 0.7 in deep and 2.6 in high; allow a few extra millimetres for the fold-out stand or the hanging slot, and a flat ferrous surface for the magnetic back.

What is the correct way to insert the single 3A battery so the 10-second refresh starts immediately?

Open the rear compartment, match the + and – marks exactly, press the cell in until it clicks, then wait one refresh cycle for the comfort icon to appear.

When should the 3A battery be replaced to keep the ±1°F/°C and ±2%–3%RH accuracy over the 18 to 24 month design life?

Swap the cell when digits dim or the comfort indicator freezes; a fresh alkaline 3A battery restores full accuracy for another 18 to 24 months.
