Extends wired and dual-band Wi-Fi networks through electrical wiring at up to 1000 Mbps powerline speed with a gigabit Ethernet port
The Tenda PH10 kit uses HomePlug AV2 over household wiring to deliver up to 1000 Mbps powerline throughput and adds dual-band Wi-Fi at 200 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 433 Mbps on 5 GHz. One unit provides a gigabit Ethernet port while the other extends wireless coverage. Setup is plug-and-play with a pair button on each adapter.
Households that want both a wired gigabit link and Wi-Fi in a distant room without running cables will benefit. The kit includes an EU, UK or US plug. It is not for buyers who need more than one wireless extender, who require multi-gigabit wired speeds, or who cannot use powerline because of separate electrical circuits.
The single figure that determines whether this kit fits the job is the 1000 Mbps powerline PHY rate. Real-world throughput depends on wiring quality and distance, so buyers should match that number to the bandwidth they actually need.

The PH10 uses HomePlug AV2, which is backward compatible with HomePlug AV devices, so it will share the circuit with older adapters while each pair negotiates its own link speed.
Press the Pair/Reset button on both units until the Powerline LEDs turn solid green; then connect a PC to the gigabit port and run a local speed test — sustained rates near 1 Gbps indicate the link is operating at spec.
The box contains one AV1000 AC Wi-Fi Powerline Extender, one AV1000 Gigabit Powerline Adapter, a Cat5e Ethernet cable, and a Quick Installation Guide; you only need a mains socket and a router with a free LAN port.
