Stereo 2-in 1-out passive mixer

The TENEALAY X21 combines two stereo 3.5 mm sources into one stereo 3.5 mm output. Each input has its own volume knob for independent level control. The unit draws no power and fits on a desktop at 72 x 60 x 26 mm. It weighs 105 grams and ships new with a 90-day manufacturer warranty.

Passive mixing limits

Because the X21 has no internal amplifier, the combined output is attenuated relative to the inputs. High-impedance loads such as powered speakers lose less level, while low-impedance loads such as headphones lose more. The mixer cannot boost a weak source or drive difficult loads without external amplification. It also cannot isolate sources from each other the way an active circuit would.

3.5 mm stereo connectivity

All connections use 3.5 mm TRS jacks: two inputs and one output. If your sources or destination use quarter-inch, RCA, XLR or digital interfaces, you will need adapters or a different mixer. The X21 is built only for line-level stereo signals on 3.5 mm plugs.
