Measures carbon monoxide up to 1,000 ppm with backlit dual display and adjustable alarm
The Tenmars TM-801 is a handheld carbon monoxide meter designed for electricians, HVAC technicians and safety inspectors who need to verify CO levels up to 1,000 ppm. It simultaneously displays gas concentration and ambient temperature on a backlit four-digit LCD, making it suitable for spot checks in residential, commercial or industrial environments.
Confirm that the measurement range of 0 to 1,000 ppm covers the expected concentrations in your application. The unit requires six AAA batteries or an optional 9 V DC adaptor, neither of which are included, so plan for a power source before deployment. Calibration can be performed at 100 ppm or 500 ppm reference points using standard calibration gas.
The meter draws power from six AAA cells for approximately 90 hours of continuous operation, or from a 9 V, 0.5 A adaptor when mains supply is available. It has no moving parts, so operation is silent. The specified operating temperature spans -20 °C to 50 °C, and the sensor maintains its stated accuracy within the 23 °C ±0.5 °C, RH <75 % reference condition.
