Analog multimeter with interior magnetic shielding, DC current to 0.25A, AC/DC voltage to 1000V, resistance to 20MΩ, transistor hFE test, continuity buzzer, AF output -10dB to +22dB, 148x99x41mm, 322g
The Tenmars YF-370A is an analog multimeter built for electricians who need stable readings near transformers or heavy conductors. Its interior magnetic movement rejects external fields that would deflect a standard needle, giving reliable indications on noisy job sites. The instrument covers AC and DC voltage to 1000V, DC current from 50µA to 0.25A, and resistance up to 20MO.
A dedicated hFE socket lets technicians check transistor gain without a separate tester, while the AF output scale spans -10dB to +22dB for quick audio-level checks. Overload protection comes from a diode clamp and a single 0.5A 5Ø x20mm fuse, both replaceable in the field. The meter ships without the required two 1.5V UM-3 cells and one 9V 006P battery.
The red case measures 148 x 99 x 41mm and weighs about 322g with batteries fitted, so it rides easily in a tool pouch or belt holster. Standard banana-jack inputs accept common test leads, and the analog scale requires no backlight or firmware updates. Buyers needing auto-ranging, data logging, or true-RMS digital accuracy should consider a different instrument class.

Replace the 0.5A (5×20 mm) fuse only after it blows from overload; swap the two 1.5V UM-3 and one 9V 006P cells when the analog pointer becomes sluggish or readings drift.
The DC current range tops out at 0.25 A, so sustained loads above a quarter-ampere will hit that ceiling before the 1000 V voltage or 20 MΩ resistance ranges.
No fan is present and the passive analog movement produces negligible heat; only the transistor hFE test draws extra current from the 9 V cell during use.
