The Tenmars YF-510 is a pointer-type insulation tester built for electricians who verify wiring integrity on installations rated up to 600 V AC. It provides three test-voltage ranges — 250 V, 500 V and 1000 V DC — covering insulation resistance from 50 MΩ up to 2000 MΩ. A low-resistance range of 2 kΩ and a battery-check function complete the measurement set. The analog movement gives an immediate visual response for go/no-go decisions on site.

Electricians certifying new circuits or troubleshooting insulation breakdown on 250–1000 V DC test voltages will find the ranges match standard verification procedures. The 600 V AC range supports live-line checks.
